About QuebecIPTV

We sell IPTV subscriptions to households in Quebec and across Canada. We are a licensed reseller, we operate under our own name on our own domain, and we try to be the least exaggerated business in a category that exaggerates constantly.

What we actually do

We resell IPTV subscriptions under licence. Customers pay for a period, receive credentials by email, install a player on a device they already own and watch television over their own internet connection. There is no hardware, no technician visit and no contract.

That is the whole business. We do not manufacture devices, we do not sell preloaded boxes, and we do not run a reseller programme that would put our brand on services we cannot see. Keeping the scope this narrow is what makes it possible to answer support questions properly.

The claims we deliberately do not make

This category runs on numbers that cannot be checked. We have chosen not to use any of them, and it is worth saying which ones and why, because the absences are deliberate rather than oversights.

  • No channel count. Advertised counts are padded with duplicates, regional variants and dead entries across this entire industry. A count tells you nothing about whether your four channels are present.
  • No uptime percentage. We could publish one and you could not verify it. Nobody in this market can.
  • No review scores or star ratings. We have no third-party review corpus, so there is nothing honest to display. When that changes we will use a real provider rather than writing testimonials ourselves.
  • No subscriber totals. Unverifiable, and irrelevant to whether the service works in your living room.
  • No promise about content we do not control. Rights vary by territory and change over time, which is why we ask you to verify the catalogue during the trial rather than trusting a page written months earlier.

How support works

Support is email, every day between 09:00 and 21:00 Eastern, in English and in French, at support@quebeciptv.site. Installation help costs nothing and is available before you buy as well as after.

The fastest tickets to resolve include four things: the device, the exact channel name, the time the problem occurred and whether other channels were affected. With those we can check the right feed immediately instead of exchanging several messages first.

Why the pricing looks the way it does

We sell one month at $14.00 CAD, six months at $55.00 CAD and twelve months at $82.00 CAD. The longer periods cost less per month because a single payment for a longer period costs us less to process and administer than twelve separate ones, and because a household that commits for a year is one we do not have to win back every thirty days.

We would still rather you did not start with the twelve-month plan. A year is a long prepayment in any category, and the sequence we recommend has not changed: use the free trial, buy a single month, live with the service through a normal week including a weekend, and only then decide whether a longer period is worth it. Nothing about the annual rate expires if you take three months to get there.

On price as a signal

Elsewhere on this site we write about how to tell a licensed IPTV service from an unlicensed one. Price is a weak signal in that test and we want to be straightforward about why, given what we charge. A very low price can mean an operator is not paying for what it carries. It can also mean a small business with low overheads, no retail presence, no advertising budget and no call centre. Both exist.

The signals that actually separate the two are things you can check before paying anyone, us included: is there a named business behind the site; will it answer a direct question about where its distribution rights come from; are the refund, privacy and terms pages published and specific; is payment taken through ordinary card processing rather than cryptocurrency or a transfer to a personal account; and has the brand been at the same address long enough to have a history. Apply those to us. They are the reason this page exists.

Judge us on the trial, not on this page

Every business describes itself well. The trial is how you find out whether the description holds up on your own screen.
