Frequently asked questions

Everything below is answered directly, including the questions where the answer is not flattering to us. If something you need is missing, write to support@quebeciptv.site and we will answer it and then add it here.

Plans and billing

How much does a QuebecIPTV subscription cost?

One month is $14.00 CAD, six months is $55.00 CAD which works out to $9.17 per month, and twelve months is $82.00 CAD which works out to $6.83 per month. Every plan includes one connection. There is no installation fee, no equipment rental and no contract.

Should I buy the 12-month plan straight away?

We would rather you did not. A year is a long prepayment anywhere, so use the free trial, then buy a single month, then move up once you have lived with the service through a normal week. The 12-month rate of $82.00 CAD will still be there, and nothing about it expires while you take your time.

Does my plan renew automatically?

The monthly plan renews every thirty days unless you turn renewal off. The six and twelve month plans do not renew silently; we message you before the end date and you choose whether to continue.

Can I change plans mid-period?

Yes. Message us on WhatsApp before your renewal date and we move you to the new rate at the start of the next period. You keep the remainder of what you already paid for and nothing needs reinstalling on your devices.

What payment methods do you accept?

You order on WhatsApp and we send you a secure payment link that accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. The link is hosted by a regulated payment processor, so your card details go to them and never to us. We never ask for cryptocurrency, gift cards or e-transfers to a personal account, and any service that does should be treated with suspicion.

Are prices in Canadian dollars?

Yes. Every price on this site is in Canadian dollars and includes no hidden fees. The amount on the payment link we send you is the amount published here.

Setup and devices

What devices can I use with QuebecIPTV?

Amazon Firestick and Fire TV, Samsung and LG smart televisions, Android TV and Google TV boxes, Apple TV, iPhone and iPad, Android phones, Windows and Mac. Each device has a step-by-step install guide on this site, and setup takes under ten minutes on most of them.

How long does setup take?

Under ten minutes on most devices, and about five on an Android box. You receive a username, password and server URL by email, install a player on your device and enter those details. Our support desk will walk you through it if you prefer not to do it alone.

What do I receive after paying?

An email containing your username, password, server URL and a link to the player for your device, along with the matching install guide. Nothing physical is shipped because there is nothing physical to ship.

How many devices can I install on?

As many as you like. The limit is on simultaneous playback rather than installations: each plan includes one connection, so one stream plays at a time across all your devices.

Do I need a VPN?

No. A VPN adds latency and an extra hop, which makes live streams less stable rather than more. The advice to use one with IPTV comes from the unlicensed part of the market and does not apply to a licensed service.

What internet speed do I need?

Around 8 to 10 Mbps for a single full HD stream, and 25 Mbps for 4K. Nearly every Canadian home connection clears that. Stability matters far more than raw speed, which is why we recommend a wired Ethernet connection wherever possible.

Content and quality

How many channels are included?

We deliberately do not publish a channel count. Those numbers are padded across this industry with duplicates, regional variants and dead entries, and they tell you nothing about whether the four channels you actually watch are present. Use the trial to check the specific channels you care about.

What quality are the streams?

FHD and HD where the source provides them. Quality varies by channel because it is determined by the source feed, not by us, and no provider can deliver a higher quality than the feed it receives.

Are films and series included?

Films and series are available subject to availability, which varies by territory and changes over time. This is exactly why we ask customers to verify the catalogue during the trial rather than trusting a description written months earlier.

Do you carry local Quebec channels?

Check the specific channels you watch during your trial. Carriage depends on distribution rights that vary by territory, so the only catalogue that matters to you is the one visible on your own screen, in your own region, on the day you subscribe.

Why does one channel buffer when the others are fine?

That pattern points to the source feed for that channel rather than to your network or our infrastructure. Report the exact channel name and the time you saw it and we will check that source directly.

Support

How do I order, and how do I contact support?

Both happen on WhatsApp: message +44 7862 838725 any day between 09:00 and 21:00 Eastern. You can also email support@quebeciptv.site. We answer in English and in French. Include your device, the channel name and the time a problem occurred, because that is what lets us check the specific feed.

What information should I include in a support email?

The device you are using, the exact channel name, the time the problem occurred and whether other channels were affected. Those four details let us check the right feed immediately instead of exchanging several messages first.

Do you offer support in French?

Yes. Our support desk answers in English and in French every day between 09:00 and 21:00 Eastern, on WhatsApp at +44 7862 838725 and by email.

Can you help me install it?

Yes, at no extra cost. Message us on WhatsApp with your device and we will walk you through it in real time, which is usually faster than email for setup. Every supported device also has a written step-by-step guide on this site if you would rather work alone.

Answer the rest with a trial

Most remaining questions are about the catalogue, and the only reliable answer to those is the one on your own screen.
