Privacy policy

We collect as little as the service allows: an email address to send your credentials to, a record of what you bought, and whatever you tell us in a support message. This page explains what happens to all of it.
What we collect
We collect the email address you give us, the plan you bought, the device you told us about, and the content of any messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
| Data | Why we hold it | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | To deliver credentials and answer support | While your account is active, plus 24 months |
| Order and plan history | Billing records and legal obligations | As required by Canadian tax law |
| Device type (if provided) | To send the correct installation guide | With your account record |
| Support and WhatsApp messages | To answer you and to spot recurring faults | 24 months |
| Payment card details | Never held by us; processed by our payment provider | Not applicable |
| Analytics (if enabled) | To understand which pages are useful | Per the analytics provider's retention settings |
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information to anyone.
- We do not share your email address with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not store payment card numbers on our own systems.
- We do not require an account, a phone number or a date of birth to buy a subscription.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses a small amount of browser storage to remember what is in your cart between pages. That data stays in your browser and is never sent to us as personal information.
If website analytics is enabled, it is configured with IP anonymisation and is used to understand which pages help people and which do not. It is not used to build advertising profiles. Analytics is loaded only when the site is configured with a measurement identifier, so it is absent entirely on deployments where that has not been set.
Your rights under Canadian and Quebec law
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it, and withdraw consent for optional processing. Write to support@quebeciptv.site and we will respond within 30 days.
These rights arise under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, under the provincial private-sector privacy legislation commonly known as Law 25. We apply the same standard to every customer regardless of province.
Some records we cannot delete on request, because tax and accounting law requires us to retain transaction records for a defined period. Where that applies we say so and we delete the rest.
Who we share data with
- Our payment processor, which handles card details directly through the payment link and tells us only whether a payment succeeded.
- Our email provider, which delivers your credentials and our replies to you.
- WhatsApp, operated by Meta, if you choose to contact us there. Your message and phone number are visible to Meta under their own privacy terms, which we do not control. Email us instead if you would rather they were not.
- Our hosting provider, which operates the servers this site runs on.
- Law enforcement or regulators, only where a valid legal obligation requires it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with strict transport security, a content security policy and standard protective headers. Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to answer support requests. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever affected your information we would tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers are also sent by email rather than left for you to discover.
